Heads up: We’ve redesigned the Home screen! That means you’ll no longer see the Journal tab, but you can still log new meals (and edit previously logged meals) using the calendar view at the top of your screen. If your home screen looks different, please update the app to the latest version.
How to log and edit food
1. First, tap the Log food button on the app’s Home screen:
2. Then type what you ate. For example: “2 eggs, half an avocado, 1 slice of sourdough.”
Alternatively, tap the mic or camera icon to log your meal using your voice or by scanning your food with a camera:
Our AI will translate your words or image into written text, so you can check the accuracy of your food entry.
3. When you’ve confirmed that the details of your meal are correct, tap Done:
After your food is logged, our algorithm, designed by our nutrition scientists, will provide a Nutrition Score and personalized feedback on your meal. Each food is assessed in terms of nutritional factors that can influence weight and health, like how much fiber, protein, and healthy fat they contain and how calorie-dense they are.

4. Tap Close at the bottom, and that’s it! You’ve just logged your meal:
How to edit previously logged food
Editing one of today’s meals
1. If you forgot to include something when logging one of today’s meals or logged something by mistake, you can edit your entry.
Simply find the meal you want to edit on your Home screen and tap the Score next to it:
2. In the pop-up menu, tap Edit food:
3. Update your entry, and tap Done:
Editing a previous day’s meal
1. If you need to edit a previous day’s meals, go to your calendar at the top page of your Home/Track screen depending on the app version, and click the day of the week you want to edit.
Then, find the meal you want to edit, tap the Score next to it, and follow steps 2 and 3 above.
Good job! 🥳
What are the app's timeframes for breakfast, lunch, dinner, etc.?
Breakfast: 4 am–10 am
Late breakfast: 10 am–12 pm
Lunch: 12 pm–4 pm
Early dinner: 4 pm–6 pm
Dinner: 6 pm–10 pm
Late dinner: 10 pm–4 am
How editing meals can affect your fasts
- If you edit the time of a meal that starts or ends a fast, that will affect the fast that this corresponds with.
- If you delete a meal that starts a fast, this will automatically delete the fast it started.
- If you delete a meal that ends a fast, this will automatically extend the fasting period until the next meal you record. If there is no meal logged after the one you’ve deleted, your current status will change back to Fasting.
