Simple is not a strict schedule-based app, it's a tracker. It relies on your input to understand when you're actually fasting. That's why manually logging your meals, liquid intakes and fasts is a core mechanics of Simple.
Logging meals, liquid intakes and fasts
Worry not – tracking your meals, liquid intakes, and fasting periods in Simple takes little time and even less effort. Whenever you eat something or need to begin or finish your fast, simply log it in the app on the main screen. Please refer to this article for more information.
Tracking your meals and liquid intake
The most important part of fasting with Simple is keeping a detailed and honest track of everything you eat and drink. So please make sure you always log everything in the app.
If you forgot to log your meal, you can do it retroactively. Simply log any meal or liquid intake you forgot to add and choose the time and date in the menu.

Tracking your liquid intake
You're 60% water, let's keep it that way! Staying hydrated is essential for your mind and body. With Simple, you can keep track of your hydration status directly on the main screen and use the (+) button to log your liquid intakes throughout the day.

Logging your fasts
When the time is right (based on your fasting protocol), the app will tell you to start fasting. Please refer to this article to learn more about logging your fasts.

Staying active is an essential part of your well-being. It's also an important part of the fasting experience for people who want to see some positive weight changes in their body. We put the Activity tracker on the main screen so you can see your current status and log your activity with a single tap.

Changing your fasting schedule
If you feel like your current fasting schedule isn't working for you, don't hesitate to try a new one! You can always change your fasting schedule by tapping the 'My Fasting Plan' button at the top of the screen.
