How to log a meal or snack
You should know: ⌚ The time needed to consume your food and a portion size makes the difference between a meal and a snack. A meal is something you eat to fill yourself up, and a snackis a small quick bite you eat between meals.
How to log a snack
- First, look for the 'Log a meal' button on the main screen of the app:
2. Next, tap the 'Snack' icon on your screen:
3. After that, you will be redirected to the food details screen where you enter all details about your last snack. "You can also log your snack with no details, but this isn't recommended, as providing all the details allows us to analyse the data you record and provide you with a customized experience with customized advice - designed specifically for you:
When adding all the details about your snack, try not to puzzle your head too much with questions like 'Was this meal healthy?' etc. Instead, just use your gut feeling (see what we did there?) and let your personal feelings and emotions dictate the answers. This is absolutely okay.
PLEASE NOTE: Logging a snack during a fasting period will automatically break your active fast. This is because the Simple App tracks every fast as a substantial time period between two meals/snacks.
