How to log a meal or snack
You should know: ⌚ The time needed to consume your food and the portion size are what makes something a meal vs. a snack. A meal is something you eat to fill yourself up, and a snack is a small quick bite you eat between meals.
First, look for the Log a meal button on the main screen of the app:
On the next screen, you'll see our meal scanner. It lets you conveniently scan your meals or snacks with your phone's camera or search for them manually, quickly adding them to your log.
If you want to scan your meal with your phone's camera, tap the Scan meal button. After the scan is complete, tap the + icon next to the suggested options to log them.
Meal scan uses your phone's camera to identify and match food with its nutritional information. We scan and recognize all your food in real-time. You can even scan multiple food items in a row!

🍉 Adding food manually
If you want to manually add a meal or snack, you can search for a dish or ingredient using the search box at the top.
The suggested options will show up in the search results. Tap the + icon to log an item.
